LEGAL EXPERIENCE
Cobb County Magistrate Court
- Judge
Currently serves as an assisting judge for the Cobb County Superior Court; presides over first appearance, probable cause, temporary protective order, bond, plea, ordinance, and warrant application hearings; issuance of arrest warrants; and sets pre-trial bond conditions.
Office of the DeKalb County District Attorney – Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit
- Director of Community Affairs/Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney
Oversaw the Office’s community outreach efforts and created the Crime Strategies and Community Partnerships Unit (CS/CPU), the first of its kind in Georgia.
DeKalb County Solicitor-General’s Office
- Deputy Chief Assistant Solicitor-General
Oversaw the Special Victims (SVU) (prosecuting high-risk domestic violence, elder abuse, and sexual assault cases), Community Outreach, and the Diversion & Community Alternatives Program (D-CAP) Units with supervision of the Victim Witness Advocate Coordinator, Community Prosecutor,and the Supervising Assistant Solicitor-General, with dotted line responsibility for SVU Investigators.

- Chief Senior Assistant District Attorney
Assigned to the Crimes against Women and Children Unit (CAWAC) prosecuting felony sexual and physical abuse cases involving women, children, and vulnerable victims.

Responsibility for developing the policies, programs, and procedures needed to ensure access to victim services; and supervising the Child Support Enforcement Unit, the Victim Witness Assistance Program (VWAP).
